Another great Christmas Festival organised by Tonbridge Rotary.  The weather was kind and Tonbridge is now looking very festive.  We are proud to be part of a community with so much going on.

Sunday is the annual Christmas Festival in Tonbridge and we are happy to be part of the entertainment.  We'll be on the stage to sing at 3pm.  Thanks @rotarytonbridge for organising the day.

New term and new music

We start singing again tomorrow (Wednesday 11 September) after the summer break, in the newly refurbished Delarue Hall.  We have some exciting new music to practice and already have some performance dates in the diary.  Hopefully we will have some new members to welcome too.

We had a wonderful evening at our 'Here Comes Summer' concert.  We enjoyed singing to a lovely audience and also listening to the very talented Stocks Green Primary School choir and our soloists.

A night to remember ...

We were proud to take part in the memorial concert for Stephen Bovey at the EM Forster Theatre, raising money for Hospice in the Weald.  Mr Bovey was a previous head at Hillview School where our choir started so many years ago.

Some of our choir will be heading to the Royal Albert Hall tomorrow to sing The Armed Man by Sir Karl Jenkins with The Really Big Chorus.  We'll be rehearsing in the afternoon and performing with the English Festival Orchestra in the evening.  Will be an exciting day!  

'Spring Forward' concert

Our 'Spring Forward' concert will be held on Saturday 12 May 2018 at Hillview School for Girls, Royal Rise, TN9 2DQ, starting at 7.30pm.  Tickets are just £5 and can be bought in advance by calling 01732 365392 or on the door.

We will be singing at Shipbourne Farmers' Market on Thursday 29 March.  A great chance to hear us sing and pick up some fresh local produce for Easter.

We started our new term of singing on Wednesday 13 September 2017. New members are still very welcome so come along and see if you like us.

 

This term we will be singing a variety of music including some Coldplay, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, The Prayer and City of Stars from La La Land ready for a spring concert. We will also work on our Christmas repertoire to perform at local venues including Tonbridge Cottage Hospital and the Tonbridge lights switch on.
